A forum for news and discussions about New World: Aeternum, an open-world MMORPG created by Amazon Games.

Our Community Rules primarily strive to apply the Lemmy.zip CoC to our discussions of New World, establishing a better community for those who enjoy this game. First and foremost, follow the CoC, and then follow our rules:

  1. Kindness and Maturity. Tasteful dunking on the subjects of a given post or enemy factions is fine, but there is no need to be rude or aggressive toward users in this community. It’s a game. Being unpleasant about it does not enrich you nor others.
  2. Quality Discussions. Avoid unstructured critique and hyperbolic claims that terminate meaningful discourse.
  3. Inclusivity. Beyond what that means for the wider Lemmy community, that also means welcoming and respecting everyone no matter how they choose to play New World. Console? Casual? Perpetually sweaty? Welcome one and all.
  4. Free of Spam. We’re on Lemmy because ads suck—don’t give us more. Promote your content with respectful frequency. Recruitment is limited to the Megathread or direct messages.
