It is true for any kind of celebrity, though I think seiyuus do not have the most public attention compared to actors or sports stars. It could be the case that it is harder for them to date people outside of the industry, we are just seeing those who successfully made it to marriage and it is an all the more precious thing.

If you are Ken, you have amnesia.

(Yes, it is possible to refer to oneself by name, but it would be quite awkward / weird if one do it in real life.)

This season’s meetings…… no, Tempest’s Opening Festival is over.

@rikka@ani.social :

Rimuru easily thwarted Rosso family’s plan to undermine Tempest’s standing, with Duke Muese taking the brunt of the fall.

Rimuru recognized that Yuuki is the boss behind Clayman with connections to the eastern merchants. This followed by Tempest receiving a letter from the Council of the West foreshadows the conflict for the next season, which was announced after the episode.

The anime have almost caught up to the manga, around chapter 118 (latest is 122), and about half way through the LN volumes. We do not know when the next season will begin broadcasting, but manga readers can probably look forward to it going into unknown territory.

Yes, you could have watched a 5- (or 10-) years old movie and went there for a forum full of threads about that specific movie. Some threads might be old, but people did make new threads even after years, and they were all in one place and easy to find. It was a big loss when it was shut down, and I haven’t found a place that offers a similar experience.

At the moment they work like email addresses. You have an xyz@gmail.com account, you can only log into gmail.com’s server. But you can talk to abc@outlook.com, the fediverse (gmail.com and outlook.com’s servers) takes care of passing the messages / posts for you.

Elmesia’s title is 天帝 or 皇帝 in Japanese, and both of these are gender-less words.

In any case, the English people probably had the same thought you did and defined Kingdom as being able to be headed by a queen also. The United Kingdom was one example until recently.

There is a reason Rimuru is special besides being from a different world, and is related to the mask, but that is the next story arc for the anime (LN vol 11) I think.

Continuing from the end of the last episode, Rimuru and Gazel discuss Tempest’s financial problems, at which point in stead of the OP song we got the entrance of wise and ancient Elmesia, who was acquainted with Gazel’s grandfather and called him Gazel-bou (“young Gazel”).

Elmesia offered to exchange some gold coins from her personal magic purse to help, and gave a lesson to Tempest (and especially Diablo) what greedy schemes humans could have hatched to undermine the country. After some talks with Rimuru and assessing him, she approved an alliance between Thalion and Tempest, in return of …… getting her included in any interesting stuff Rimuru plans in the future, and an introduction to Mr. Yoshida 🍰.

As to the tournament, Gobta fought so bravely with his new skill that even “Lightspeed” Masayuki decided to concede the fight and let Gobta win. Milim was impressed and volunteered to train Gobta and Ranga in the dungeons which Hakuro welcomed.

@rikka@ani.social :

Goodbye, Gobta. Goodbye, Ranga. I’ll never forget how brave you were. – Rimuru

Masayuki finally got to eat lunch in private with Rimuru, without his doting party members. Rimuru told him that he was also from Japan and treated him Japanese cuisine. He was relieved they were not enemies and told Rimuru of his unique skill. When he learned that Tempest had mangas, he became an ally completely.

Next episode we’ll witness the opening of Tempest’s Labyrinth, and Masayuki will show it off by challenging it.
