One of my favourite DOS games was One Must Fall 2097. It’s a fighting game with giant robots piloted by humans (similar to Pacific Rim). I really appreciated the diversity in design and move set for the different robots, and it had a killer main theme.
I played Tyrian 2000 a ton as a kid and this was such a fantastic game. It even had a great two player mode which I recall had separate weapons for each ship!
I wish I was old enough at the time to appreciate the data logs you collected because I remember there was fun dialog hidden in some of them.
Wow, out of everything that’s happened involving Reddit over the past few weeks, this to me is the most damning and deserves the most attention.
I’m really curious to see how they try to spin this in the next PR piece and what the reactions will be.
This is a great post that resonates with me.
While I’ve come to terms with accepting that a mass migration from Reddit to Kbin, Lemmy, etc. may not happen any time soon, I do appreciate learning about these new communities and am looking forward to helping them grow :)
Thanks for sharing this. I’m going to email my MP about this later today.
As someone who’s still upset by how the Liberals ended this discussion after 2015 and went back on their promise, I expect either the Conservative or Liberal Party to find a way to squash this initiative again.
That being said, I do still think there’s value in pushing for this change especially at this moment. The EKOS poll referenced on that site mentioned that 76% of Canadians support a citizens’ assembly. Given that, I think either party would have to be very careful in how they try to obstruct this change. Especially in the minority government environment we’re in.
Hey everyone, I’m a new user as well from Reddit and I’m really excited to be on Kbin. I was wondering if anyone had a link to a wiki or video that explains how to navigate the UI for the site?
The FAQs section didn’t cover some of the questions I had, like what are boosts and how do I favourite/save posts or comments?
