I’ve seen it. Honestly would not recommend. It’s silly as you’d expect but it’s very amateur and not very good

- Original fuel and ignition though the fuel pump, lines, plugs, and other wear items are fairly new. I’m pretty sure that the boots from the intake manifold are not creating a good seal so more air than the MAF is counting is getting in. I’ll replace those and see if the issue persists.

Since it is a ceiling fan you’re going to want it to be strong. I see two options here
Get a tap set and re-thread the holes a little larger and get new bolts
Or
Bolt the bracket for the fan to the stud directly instead of using the electrical box. Lots of fan bases are large enough that you can do this while still being able to hide the electrical box under it
