Isn’t this a loss for any manufacturer that fills their ROM with crap, ads, trackers, and their own ecosystem stuff?

The revenue doesn’t come only from the hardware.

I don’t see a reason why Google should start supporting sponsorblock if even newpipe didn’t go that further to support it from ethical reasons.

Because the battery is less stressed when it is in percentages near 50% than if it is in percentages near 100% or 0% AFAIK.

You won’t get video recommendations on your home feed (and maybe also other parts of youtube) if you have watch history disabled in your google account settings (you request google not to save your watch history).
