Just hanging out around the house in front of mirrors is a great one. I used to be the type who was happy when looking at myself in the mirror and devastated seeing pictures of myself, because I’d alway pose myself at my best angle for the mirror and a pic would never be directly on and would show the actual shape of my person or my posture. I should acknowledge that this method did get me to become healthier so it’s not like I finally accepted myself as good but it made me accept who/how I am.
Just for your information, there are actually two other games related to Rocket Slime. Unfortunately they are JP only. The one that release outside of Japan is the 2nd game. There’s a GBA game that came out before it and a sequel to the DS game focused on pirate ships
NTA, I think only people who don’t have first hand experience with disability would consider it so. More importantly, if he’s bringing that up, you should have a serious talk about your relationship since this is a key consideration that you don’t align on. If lemmy continues to evolve this will naturally change. You have the early adopters who are going to keep using it as they are and right now we have arguably more hardcore Reddit lurkers (assuming most people migrating won’t use the official app because it sucks butt). As communities are being built, people are gonna start feeling better about posting but until then you will have to accept people who are already using it.
If you want to make start this change, make a community you want to migrate here, even if you don’t want to moderate and make a couple of posts to try advertise it
