I wish I had the patience for this method. I toast my cigars but with a torch, if it’s a smaller ring gauge then I’ll break out the soft flame. I’ll be in London in a couple weeks and I’m hoping to stop by the store.

Speaking on Davidoffs, I think they have some solid sticks but their prices are pretty outrageous sometimes. I’m a fan of their Grand Cru line and Nicaraguans but their Churchills are a total rip off. I will say that their construction is perfect 99% of the time and the flavor is very consistent.

Oh those look sweet! If I only smoked in one location, I’d definitely invest in a nicer box like that. But, I frequently take my box out of the house to travel with, especially outdoors, so I need something that is more portable and rugged, hence the Pelican.

Yeah, that’s the stock “Pick N Pluck” foam that came with the case. It’s kind of a pain to lay out everything and pluck the foam, but once it’s done it works great.

Seeing this late, I have a few photos of the Kauffman Center and the Downtown Skyline that could work. What’s the best way to submit them on here?

It’s not quite roadside, or close to a camp spot, but Slap’s in KCK is easily on my Mount Rushmore of BBQ restaurants. It’s about 1 block off of I-70 in KCK. Being a more industrial area, you should have no issue getting your vehicle around.

I used to do something like that but I kept losing stuff so I finally organized everything. That way, I can see at a glance if I’m missing a lighter or something. Also, since each component has a slot, I can toss this case around and nothing rattles around inside which is great for traveling.

I know it’s not the best out there, but I love my Magic Flight Launch Box. It has a steep learning curve but it’s extremely efficient, compact, and very lightweight. Also, with no moving parts or built-in electronics, it’s really durable. Once a battery kicks the bucket, I just strip and clean an Eneloop Pro and I’m back in business.

I’m mostly commenting to save this list in case I get in the market for another vape. My MFLB isn’t great for sharing with people who don’t know how to use it and I’d love to get a more user-friendly vape for when I’m with others, keeping the MFLB for solo.

Chiming in late, but another excellent grinder company is Space Case. They’re not cheap, but it’ll last the rest of your life with good cleaning and maintenance. I also think the design is very slick.

I really liked that name and it’s a shame they decided against it.
