I think you’re onto something with Reddit culture being driven by bots. I went on Reddit for the first time in a few weeks yesterday and the front page just felt so… Fake. Especially compared to a place like Lemmy that feels more like the old-school Internet - Real people having real conversations, instead of just trying to meet a status quo and a particular tone of voice. It’s refreshing here. I don’t want it to become Reddit 2.0.

(Disclaimer: I came here recently from Reddit.)

I don’t have any particular games in mind, but I’m sure I’ll pick up a few things. I’ve really been enjoying casual games lately - I just beat Defense Grid 1 and 2, and Monster Train, so I’m looking for something along those lines.

Valid, but also, if the terms of your employment change you are eligible for unemployment. Versus if your contract doesn’t specifically list remote/hybrid work, you’ll be forced to abide by it or quit.

Of course they can always claim a BS reason for your firing but this can open them up to lawsuits.

A lamp in my office turns red when the cat litter box needs to be emptied. My cat gets moody when his box isn’t kept spotless so this has been a godsend.

Nice, can’t wait. I love my Samsung Fold and I’ll probably keep it another year but I’m excited to see what new improvements are made.

I recently watched a Twitch streamer play through all of the Fatal Frame games. It was a wild adventure. I heard that there’s a new Fatal Frame game coming out sometime soon and I’m stoked to check it out.

Was the experience you described multiplayer or were those NPCs?

Fox News is not a reliable source of information. Even the snippet you posted uses misleading statistics.
