I hate that people think “I want to pay less taxes” then someone says, we can put in a healthcare system that cuts your income taxes by 10% and gives everyone free healthcare and you no longer have co-pays and BS about figuring out of a $5000 deductable before coverage starts is even worth paying. I never said they could require you to enter a pin, my words are often a jumble. I was saying cops actually asked me if I wanted to restart or shut down my phone so I had peace of mind that they wouldn’t go through it.

I was talking about the controls in ARK doing that. It’s a survival game where you tame dinosaurs and raise them up in strength. Flying, swimming. Running around on raptors as well. I only ever played offline, but there are online games where people build giant bases put of gates, turrets, crazy things. Then you get someone riding a megalodon with a makeshift scuba mask. It can be fun. There is a TV show I think now about it.

What exactly is the phone fucking?

Yeah but that would imply they are bringing the phones to the person multiple times to use their face/finger, or they are keeping the phone active so it never locks, unless they are actively changing the settings to never lock somehow. Seems like an easier fix to just require you to enter your pin to change your lock setting to indefinitely.

Side note: the last time I was arrested the officer asked me if I wanted to reboot my phone or turn it off before handing it over so I knew they weren’t going to go through it. Was surprised

Yeah that’s the only way I’ve played co-op for Minecraft, on the couch. We had a good run of playing ARK together like that for a bit as well. But the controls for co-op have a few issues. If you go to the inventory or upgrades, the buttons for the other player will start to get wonky in their inventory or upgrades. Usually you all together can’t press buttons at all and have to exit until the other player finishes. If you look through a scope, it zooms on the other person’s screen as well, strange flaws that you would think they would have fixed but never did after many updates. Almost forgot. You might get yanked across the map and drown or not be able to see underwater if the other player gets to far or isn’t in the water. Think they fixed the water thing now, haven’t tried it yet though

But if you have a PlayStation, a short game that I really liked was “A Way Out”. Its a couch co-op jailbreak game. It was made really well I think. The screen even resizes giving each player “priority” parts where it intentionally makes one player take the lead and the other support. Never played another game that did co op so well.

Yeah, nothing’s unbreakable. I once saw a kid shove a whole ham sandwich into a cd/optical drive. People do weird stuff. It probably would have worked afterwards too if someone cleaned the mustard off the lens. Never checked, as even back in 2006 it was rare to put CDs in school computers. The age of flash drives has already arrived.

That’s a pity. I had play stations. My fiancee has an Xbox. With games like that, if she is playing on her Xbox, can she use the same license in the Xbox app that Windows throws in everyone’s face? Or perhaps if I sat down at a computer, can we both play the same place. (Cross play I guess I mean)

When I lived in Panama City Beach before I moved here a few years ago I walked everywhere except work. Grocery stores, bars, etc. averaged around 22,000 steps a day. I may average around 4,000 here. (Note I worked a sit down job when I lived there as well)

Aka yeah, infrastructure and location impact my health greatly.

Edit: come to think of it I actually stopped to help a construction worker putting new sidewalks on front beach road at one point. His workers slacked off and left early for the day. Asked if he needed help and he threw me $100 for 2 hours of work and told me if I came back he’d pay me to be their manager. I was already employed elsewhere so I turned him down, but it was a unique experience for me.
