Some of the elements of Subnautica 2 worry me a bit (live service model), but can’t deny the franchise had a big effect on me and I’m excited for this entry.
One of the coolest things they did is tease Subnautica 2 using the time capsule feature in Subnautica 1. Some of the earliest screenshots were to be found by exploring Subnautica 1.

without fail I almost always find the red-pilled ‘fixed x character’s face’ posts to always look considerably worse afterwards. and I don’t just mean artistically, like "it’s inappropriate to insert a super model face into this situation,’ but like geniuenly less attractive because they look like dolls now.
Globalist Erika is very keen to dehumanize people. Because, obviously, waging an eternal war to procure a throne is not something individual humans think to do. That’s actually the behavior of like, fantasy orcs or anime antagonists. So to believe people think that way, you’d have to believe they’re not actually human.
What is very human is fighting for your life, though. To me, it seems believable that the people fighting for their own land could probably be believed when they say they want their home to be free. But Idunno. Globalist Erika has different takes.

I’m surprised this hasn’t come up before already. I’m generally on the boat of ‘no loli posting’ outright. It’s a messy moralistic debate that I haven’t seen sufficiently settled yet, but most people don’t want to chance across sexualized underage girls/discussions of it and no one wants to get into a debate about it. One side is inevitably called pedophiles for engaging in it and the other side can justifiably become extremely heated.
Most well adjusted communities with cultures you want to spend time in outright ban the discussion. Avoid the mess all together. There’s not many ways to slice ‘sexualizing underage girls’ without pulling up a rotten slice.
this doesn’t track for me because we don’t hold other groups collectively responsible for eg. maintaining a car or cleaning up litter. it would track with me that we all clean up our environment as much as we personally can and then hold responsible the ones who actually generate and neglect to clean rubbish, dog poop, etc.
