I built an app that is running mainly in a Samsung tab A7 lite. The app itself is pretty simple, no internet connection, only uses a local SQLite, no complex operations, no custom animations, but the performance is shit, its usable, but there is clearly a lag. Though testing it in my phone (Redmi Note 10, not high-end at all) I have no problems with performances.
Trabalho com Delphi (uma versão mais antiga, relativamente baixo nível comparado a C++) a uns 6 anos. Eu diria que a linguagem em sí não é tão importante, mas sim saber manter um código organizado e fácil de dar manutenção (o seu “eu” do futuro não vai lembrar o que se passa agora).
Agora, uma coisa que percebi que me afetou usando uma linguagem assim (principalmente sem Garbage Collector) é ter noção da memória utilizada pelo código, além de compreender melhor como usar objectos, referências, ponteiros, etc…
No geral, saiba manter um código de fácil manutenção que isso acaba sendo o mais importante.

LEGO Star Wars II was my gateway drug to stronger things, like star wars and LEGO. Played the shit out of that when was a kid, first game I 100%'ed.
Replayed LEGO Batman I recently when it was free on Epic and it still as amazing as I remember.
