On the flip side, I’ve never used the touchpads in a game outside of Aperture Desk Job.

Emudeck also installs EmulationStation. You can choose to access your games and not by integrating then into Steam. Just like Retrodeck.

Played this yesterday. Really enjoyed it. Went in blind with some random. Took a few hours to finish. I think it’s much easier than Ghosts of the Deep. But I also think it’s more fun, the music is wonderful, and the setting is beautiful. Very Rise of Iron-ish in terms of visuals. Definitely a fun experience.

Played the beginning of the new season. It’s more of the same. I mean, I know that’s not a shocker, but it does mean it’s super boring as a result. Story is good so far, but having to grind Blind Well on day 1 makes it feel like a chore right out of the gate.

I don’t understand how you can deal with Well when like every raid encounter in the game minus Rhulk is designed around a damage phase with a buttload of splash damage. You basically couldn’t damage most raid and dungeon bosses without it.

They could design them differently going forward, of course, but nearly all of the current ones seem to be made with the intention of using Well.

They are shipping the orders from crowdfunding now. When that’s done they’ll ship orders from their website. So, I guess it’s technically a preorder. But the devices are being shipped now, just in a specific order.

I’ve had mine for a couple weeks. It’s killer. The SD8G2 is an absolute monster for emulation and gaming, especially with the active cooling.

Posted today and already out of date. At least on the top pick. The AYN Odin2 is out already, and it’s a huge upgrade over the original in every way. The Odin Pro is still a good device, but the Odin2 is so so much better.

You can do some really cool stuff with emulation. I’m playing Fire Emblem Echoes Shadows of Valentia (3DS) emulated at 4x native resolution with a HD texture pack at the moment, and it makes that game really enjoyable. 3DS games in general benefit a lot from increased resolution you can do while emulating.

Plus these things like widescreen on games that didn’t have it, cheat codes, 60fps patches, fan translations, increased resolution, mods (Luminescent Platinum is so cool). It’s just such a neat world on top of just playing older games that you can’t purchase legally or conveniently anymore.

This is really cool, but obviously it’s a bummer after all the recent Bungie news.

There was 1 Deck of Whispers card that hadn’t unlocked and it was time gated. It unlocked at reset and people found it in Alters of Summoning. It unlocked the final Imbaru puzzle, which led to a final cutscene, and this tweet.
