The button on my mouse that changes the sensitivity. It’s right on top between the left and right buttons, so it happens quite frequently. Maybe I should finally figure out if I can disable it in settings somewhere, but then I’ll need to change sensitivity for some reason.

Also, when I swipe back on Android and it takes me to the home screen, closing the app. When I swipe back on purpose I don’t even want to go back to the home screen, usually just the top of the app, or clear route etc. from Google Maps, but it’s even worse when I accidentally swipe. Whoever made that design choice deserves a kick in the groin. That is like the most single annoying thing about Android I can think of.

The few people still driving original Minis must have some butt clenching moment driving in modern traffic. I do love the design of the original mini, but if you get in one now you basically feel naked, as they are so low down, and there is no padding between the metal of the exterior and the interior, not to mention the lack of any modern safety features like airbags and crumple zones.

This is fine to a degree, but it’s really sad that even 2000s cars are small compared to modern cars, which are basically all turning into SUVs and becoming increasingly unsafe for other road users. The Porsche SUV is the most ridiculous looking vehicle I’ve seen showing this trend, whereas the Mini > New Mini seemed like it was more about safety and practicality if you ever rode in an original Mini.

I’m even noticing more trucks and SUVs in Japan now. There are very few of the super doody retard mobiles that seem very common in the US, but I have seen them, and there are plenty of people driving chunky Jeep and Mercedes trucks which still look too large for the streets here. I really hope there is not a trend, but SUVs definitely seem to be increasing in number.

Thankfully very small kei cars are still popular.

Holy shit. This kid will probably not see jail and will be driving again in a year or two because his weapon of choice was a car.

People who drive those stupid fucking lifted trucks from the thumbnail regardless of whether or not they rolled coal will probably be next in line.

As far as I can tell, they aren’t doing a very good job. I’ve seen the notice that an ad blocker is not allowed, and even without upgrading the ad blocker I use I can still just click the close button on the notice and it goes away and I can continue to watch uninterrupted.

If Google does figure out how to prevent people from using ad blockers on YouTube, I think it will help me break my honestly unhealthy habit and reduce the amount I watch, or perhaps even quit entirely, since there are far more ads on YouTube than there were in the past - especially if you also include sponsor ads that are embedded in videos.

I bet they managed to spend all the money that was allotted despite not actually getting anything much built though. They are fucking pros at “spending” money on stuff that either never materialises, or ends up requiring double the amount of money initially quoted to actually end up in a finished state. There should be so many more investigations into where all the public money is going in these kinds of situations.

This must be a uniquely terrifying experience for Aussie cat owners.
