Hey if you don’t want the status quo while slowly getting the progressives into office then hey that’s your guy’s choice here.
Why are you talking like this person is personally responsible for Trump winning? And what progressives? When the party platform is shifting to the right every election? Not saying electing Trump is the right answer but any solution that includes maintaining the status quo is failing or has already failed.
No matter whose fault it was, it was Harris and her campaign managers’ job to make sure this doesn’t happen. Blaming the voters is about as productive as yelling about your controller being broken. Or will it sound better if it’s Bernie saying it?
That’s how it works in the US.
I mean yes, and enough people didn’t know that or, more likely, just didn’t care. Voters’ default state is staying at home; they need to be pushed to go to the polls. Harris failed at that. Whatever the reasons may be, I still don’t understand why you’re blaming me for it. I’m not even American what do you expect me to do here?
I will say a large swath of the country moved to the right (anti-immigration, anti-trans, etc) and so trying to push progressive values in a time where people believe progressive values are what led to inflation is a losing argument as well that wouldn’t have gotten much national support.
A large swath of the country that wouldn’t vote Democrat in a million years. As a Democrat presidential candidate, you straight up don’t care about those people. You care about the other half, which moved to the left and includes demographics that have historically responded to leftist messaging.
