North Korea became fascist? It’s strange how that’s what we call it when you fight agaisnt an attempted genocide by the US that deployed chemical weapons and bombed all major cities.

Dictatorship, to Marxists, refers to the ruling class. After Feudalism, the class character is either proletarian, capitalist/bourgeosie, or Napoleonic. In this case, all liberal democracies are dictatorships. If it’s a state, it requires dictatorship by a class or class relationship. If the dictatorship was deemed unncessary, or the contradiction between classes fell, then no states would be necessary. As far as your point on Taiwan, almost all countries recognized by the UN observe One-China policy as required by formal relationships with the People’s Republic of China (PRC), which has territorial claims to Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, even though they have their own distinct governments. To recognize formal relations with Taiwan is to also recognize China, only in that case meaning the Republic of China (ROC) rather than the PRC. As for NATO? There are plenty of videos to watch if you are curious, but NATO itself is tied to its history with the Operation Gladio, and its purpose was to be an alliance against the USSR. Now that the USSR is long gone, any use of NATO is extremely questionable, as if arming and funding fascists wasn’t bad enough.

Someone who would call Tucker Carlson anti-imperialist is not typically a good one. Just as anti-capitalism gets co-opted by fascists and reactionaries, anti-imperialism does too. I think we should always go out of our ways to platform non-reactionaries. If no analysis exists, then the Marxists should provide and boost their own analysis. I’ll always remain suspicious of a leftist that would continually watch Tucker Carlson.

Look at state’s created in the image of the USSR, like China. Everything they are doing today is correcting every single mistake made by past Communist leaders, both within China and the entire existence of the USSR from start to finish. You can’t recreate the USSR, even if you wanted to, anyways. Unique conditions are unique. Anyone who tries to repeat the creation of something like the USSR without the same conditons as 1917 Russia would create a state that would be overthrown in a matter of months or maybe a few years.

I love how Westerners are just regular politicians, but Chinese people are dictators here. You know, when Mao made mistakes he was democratically pushed out while local elections were still running. I don’t understand why you mention no redistribution of wealth, however, because China is known for massive infrastructure projects, poverty alleviation, and constant quality of life improvements. That’s more redistribution than I see in the entirety of Europe, and this same Chinese “dictator” is the reason we might be able to save this planet from ecological death.

Finally someone understands. Read the DPRK’s constitution, and it makes perfect sense. They are ran by a working class party and you’re free to vote for outside parties if they represent your interests more. Free/cheap healthcare, education, and housing. Working abroad programs. Many religions are practiced, and you may learn English or Mandarin alongside Korean to boost your opportunities.

Is that so? People in the early days of the Soviet Union were doing math far beyond their Western counterparts, for free, and they grew up to fight Nazis. I guess they were just priviledged little kids reading books who were begging to have everything for free without trying. Liberating Auschwitz was just a bunch of sheltered rich kids crying about not getting free cake after dinner…

Socialism in Germany was a middle-class tendency that was frequently co-opted by right-wingers. The German Communists tried to fight against this, but the Social Democrats sent in the Freikorps to kill them. So yeah, some German socialists abandoned their principles to become fascists while the Communists got killed and were later put into concentration camps. Not a good example, because it ignores every other piece of history that went into that story.

Alexei Navalny, the one who was too far right for the Russian right wingers? The one who compared Muslims to roaches and implied that he would hunt them? The one who openly claims that he lied to gain support? The United States created Russia with Boris Yeltin, and purposely left it unstable. Putin simply fixed the system that the Americans gave him, without returning to socialism. If the USSR was still up, none of this would’ve happened

Yes literal tons of fascists, Nazis, extreme nationalists, imperialists, colonialists, some of the worst criminals, and CIA agents. If you check the Victims of Communism, that’s literally what you’re going to find btw.
