I mean you’re free to celebrate or not how you prefer, but I don’t think it’s necessarily childish that other people celebrate differently than you. I would expect any downvotes you receive to be based more on the wording you chose.

Completely agree, and I’ve paid this game for the upgraded storage and many piggy bank cracks over the last couple of years because I play often and appreciate them keeping the game running and updating stuff. I am not, however, paying a monthly fee to use it

Why biologists first?

That is a really interesting take that I hadn’t fully considered until reading your comment, so thank you! I think this is very accurate for a lot of rural community members, especially those with hard R leanings. I think when we start from the other end of the spectrum it’s easy to say oh they must be compelled by emotional responses to issues like abortion/gun rights, when really it could be they want more autonomy.

Buuuutttttt… they also don’t want others to have the same autonomy regarding birth control and healthcare so we’re still at an impasse, and you’re right it’s totally a case of fuck you I got mine (extended cut).

I guess that depends on the person, but when I saw them it was more like a magical/otherworldly experience, kind of like being in the path of totality during a total eclipse-the world seems different. Then again, I had been living in Alaska for nearly a year hoping every day to see them. They really do dance across the sky. Really fun experience I hope you get to see them if that’s what you want.

Oh man, this has been on my TBR. I loved The Past Is Red by her, and enjoyed Comfort Me With Apples, but I think Space Opera is solidly my wheelhouse. I need to grab a copy.
