I’ve noticed the same thing with my NFS mount. Every now and then, the whole desktop freezes for anywhere between 5 and 30 seconds, even though the NFS server, which is on the local network, is accessible and running fine.

Thanks for the update. The app is excellent to use and feels much snappier than Memmy.

Is there a way to upvote or downvote posts using gestures once you’ve opened them? I know there’s the three-dots button at the top, but a swipe on the post body would bea easier to perform on long posts.

Another suggest I have is adding an option to display the instance names on users and communities.

This method is great for making burgers at home. Because the patties are thin, you don’t need a high-powered stove, the cooking time is short, and you don’t make a lot of smoke.

Is this GNOME in your screenshot? The task bar at the bottom looks great. How you make it look like that?

Why are people switching away from Raivo?

Edit: Looks like it’s been bought by a generic app developer about which there are few details to be found: https://discuss.techlore.tech/t/raivo-otp-authenticator-has-been-acquired/4962/2

Unfortunately, a lot of what The Guardian publishes these days is sensationalist headlines and no substance.

What AP would you recommend for use with it?

Yes, up to 512 bits since Skylake. But there are very few real-world tasks that can make use of such wide data paths. One example is media processing, where a 512-bit register could be used to pack 8 64-bit operands and act on all of them simultaneously, because there is usually a steady stream of data to be process using similar operations. In other tasks, where processing patters can’t make use of such batched approaches, the extra bits would essentially be wasted.

Hi. Thanks for the update!

My home page has become laggy after this update, especially when scrolling up near the top of the feed and when pulling to refresh.

I’ve also noticed that the preview in the font adjustment setting doesn’t match what I get on the front page: the text on the front page is smaller.

This is running the latest build, 1.0.2 (14).

Update: The stuttering seems fixed in 1.0.2 (20)!
