The bot fails on a Sunday, yeah? Bot boss ( can’t remember who it is) have you double checked whether the days of the week count should be 0-6 or 1-7? POSIX time (e.g. if you have a cronjob set up) is 0-6 where sunday is 0.

Had lunch outside near an intersection. Shady stressed driving everywhere. Few big near misses, lots of drifting across lanes and charging through with too small a gap… Be gentle peoples…we want you still here for Christmas.

First round of Christmas baking is a win. Sugar cookies (vegan for some folks at work) turned out ok except the frosting is a bit soft. Gingerbread dough is resting overnight in the fridge.

Dinner may have been bikkies…bit of a sugar high going on here right now.

There’s a local Christmas market on this afternoon/evening (yes they’ve moved it indoors) I was really looking forward to walking down and having a shop and supporting the local businesses but it’s feral out there.

Yep … All I know from that time is to hang onto that thread however small … I also have a list on my phone of reasons to stay alive. Might be a cat, or a friend, or the fact I like seeing the jacaranda trees this time every year. Not gratitude shit, but threads to clutch when you are white knuckling through these times.

Don’t second guess it. Melbcat is home. You did the right thing with everything you knew at the time. I miss that ring them for a chat about it - so you can suss it out so you know if you feel ok leaving her there again. But don’t beat yourself up.
