I have the same, new install of v18 and a lot of my posts are from more than a year ago. Even a lot of the “newer” are over a month old with a single upvote and no comments. It’s made “hot” pretty much useless for me.

How many of these posts about reddit have to keep popping up before the mods start cracking down and making this community about technology, not love/hate letter spam about the reddit incident. It’s gotten old.
Use one of the MULTIPLE communities about reddit for these posts. This isn’t even about technology, this is someone using this as their own personal microblog thinking other people care that they’ve moved on.
I just wish there was an easy way to sync my progress from my kindle. Does Kobo (or similarly easy to find reader) offer syncing to BookWyrm by chance? Any suggestions that aren’t too expensive are appreciated.
This product was also sold, not deleted. So to be a bit pedantic, it doesn’t belong there. People are acting like this has died entirely or they aren’t able to transfer their domains. It’s not the end of the world.
But I guess people can feel good posting “Don’t be evil I guess” over and over again (as has been posted in all the threads about this numerous times) or being all snooty about how they’ve “warned people forever” not to use any Google service ever.
Why are all these posts about reddit being posted to /c/Technology? There are so many dedicated reddit communities. The “news” about whatever is going on (or not) over there doesn’t need to keep cluttering up this community.
Especially when they are all the same thing. Either “zomg reddit is removing mods” or “zomg reddit is totally back to normal we promise, please come back if you haven’t”
What a horrible click-bait title. No one and nothing was “destroyed” here. He replied in a polite manner to a company whose goals do not align with his own.
