It’s ok to read someone else’s research. But if you automatically dismiss anything that disagrees with a previously held belief, you aren’t researching, you’re looking for confirmation. You can find confirmation for just about anything.
It’s one thing to be critical and say “maybe the specific scenario presented here doesn’t really apply to me.” It’s quite another to say “this can’t be true because I read something before that said the opposite.”
Most people “doing their own research” fall in to the latter category.
It is. Fat and sugar are not the same thing. Hot pockets contain about 25 grams of fat and 10 grams of sugar. Depending on the product. The label does not indicate any HFCS but the effect described above would be achieved with any sugar and most sugar substitutes.
The majority of calories from hot pockets are from empty carbs, and that is what’s causing you to feel hungry after eating them. 72g of carbs to 43g of combined fat and protein, and only 2g of fiber.
I’d prefer at least to maintain districts, 1 vote for 1 district, remove states and the extra two votes. Each district exactly the same number of people, give or take 1%. Give the low populated counties out in the boonies a chance to be heard.
But failing that, straight popular vote is a better option than the current cluster fuck.
