I was just wishing for something like this also. The copy/paste/search/subscribe process is quite painful, and this gets past a lot of that. I’ll give it a try right now (just set my instance up today) and try to contribute if I think of anything good.

There’s the potential to do that. But at that point you’re essentially a full blown lemmy instance, minus publishing. I’m hosting my own because I’m a masochist/interested in the tech, and going out and finding groups to add to mine is essentially what I’ve done all evening. Limited registration and I’m getting feeds from both of these servers on my client.

As much as I want to see Elon humbled a bit, I would rather the music industry not be getting a dime from this and that schadenfreude be satisfied by pure self destruction.

Man, I guess I’m at least middle age now. I remember thinking my first custom build’s processor was definitely gonna have to be one of these brand new badass i7s.

Fortunately we have a couple switches and the kiddos are a lot more interested in those games now. I’ve definitely set a boundary that the steam deck is mine for 90%+ of the time.

Lol, my instance is not quite happy with this somehow. An image with a play icon that can’t be clicked and “expand” that opens an iframe that’s busted.
