Few things for the family
- Malcolm gets called out by EVERYONE of the main characters and major side characters at one point or another in the series for his crappy attitude… It’s a running joke by the end of it…
- This is one of those fox “see! the poor don’t have to be poor, they just need gumption and having less kids” shows… (Bones is another ex.)
- Malcolm’s always whining and it causes him to lose out on many major opportunities (both relationship-wise and career-wise)
- Hal says they have sex several times a day, even when they’re camping with another family. Thus he’s always tired and can’t concentrate
- In one episode, Lois and Hal have to stop having sex for a week because of some medical issues, the grass gets attention and turns green, hal gets a promotion, and they stop being so trashy. All in one week. Once the issue is gone and they can have sex, everything goes back the way it was, grass looks like shit, house is a wreck.
- In one episode they show how each time they have a kid, the parents lives get progressively worse.
1000% agreed on no hello. Got constant "hello"s from many team members. They’d even wait for me to reply before sending messages… Only figured that out after my boss brought it up in a 1:1 … I just thought they realized the answer to the question.
I’m not talking about “sitting in your chair thinking” times. I’m talking about those micro BS conversations that people have around the office just to relieve from the monotony and try to bond. “Oh I spent last night playing this game/watching this show/ etc.” or right after a meeting.
It’s not great but I honestly like it. For a few reasons

It forces me out of the house to get my full 10k steps in. Which I never get when I wfh due to my ADHD and putting it off.

I always feel if my coworkers are online I’m hesitant to ping them because they may be busy and I don’t wanna bother them. If in the office, I can see if they’re not that busy and have been able to say hi.

I have a toddler and when she’s not in daycare she, or my partner, likes to come in and break my flow
We’re 3 days a week in which is good and bad since I def am able to see most coworkers at least one day a week and also have two days I can wfh and either leave early or have an easy morning, but is weird due to when people come in.
DSA: “hey, Biden sucks because he lets genocide happen”
Rational person: “well, I don’t like genocide… who’s the alternative?”
Dem party: … Biden is our candidate …
Rep party: Trump Trump Trump!!!
What they don’t tell you is that most American Jews on the super religious part of the spectrum love trump because he explicitly endorses Israel as well, and Bibi is the same friend of right wing extremists/dictators that Trump is.
Personally, I’m not pro Palestine. I’m anti Hamas AND anti Bibi… Just Pro peace and both govts don’t want that for different reasons.
