I went just to watch with some friends in early sfv days, would be my first time entering. Goal would be to just not go 0-2 which feels achievable?

Hitbox (leverless) > pad >>> stick imo

The only thing easier on a stick is 360 and 720 motions, which doesn’t make up for things like much easier dashes on pad or hitbox. You also get free dp motion on hitbox in sf games (at least since 4 idk about third strike) not to mention all the weird shortcuts SOCD offers.

Hitbox is also better ergonomically. Just don’t buy an actual hitbox. Get something made with keyboard switches, it’ll last a lot longer than the arcade buttons do and probably cheaper too.

I’ll admit I know fuck all about Tekken, stick may be better there. But double tapping a d pad direction is much easier than dashing on on a stick, at least for me and my fighting game buddies. Dashes was the reason one of them dropped stick for leverless near the end of sfv. He’d just stopped going for certain sequences because he couldn’t trust the dash to come out on time.

My ADHD ass could never. Time spent fiddling with clothes is time not spent making my computer fail to boot because I wanted to know if I really needed that service enabled.

If you can handle the upkeep go for it tho they look neat!

I work now and have to wear real pants

Stupid dress codes ruining all the fun. I’m only allowed khakis. :(

Good crust pants take years

Yeah that’s too much work for pants no matter how neat they look.
