I haven’t seen anything to signal Mozilla is untrustworthy other than from that one right wing guy with a chip on his shoulder.

You probably won’t, since Bandcamp has been available this entire time.

Try LibreTube. Or Firefox Mobile with Ublock Origin. Or one of many other solutions. You don’t need to watch YouTube ads on Android.

This is such a bewildering take. You can yadda yadda corruption on both sides but when the platform of one side is “making your and your neighbors lives better” and the platform of the other side is “straight-up fascism; we want to put people in camps,” the arithmetic is clear.

You’ll never ever ever be able to vote for a perfect candidate. You might as well vote to make your country a better place to live.

I don’t believe anything has made it into law but anti trans legislation has passed in the House recently. https://newhampshirebulletin.com/2024/01/04/nh-house-passes-bill-to-ban-gender-affirming-care-for-minors-sending-bill-to-senate/

They’re also trying to ban trans girls from playing sports.

Sununu strikes me as big enough of a dipshit to sign legislation like this into law, too.

The nuance you’re missing is that Congress by 2/3rds majority can vote to essentially nullify ineligibility part of the 14th amendment. So he could theoretically get elected and Congress could vote that he could still serve despite leading an insurrection.

Would Congress ever vote on that? Not a chance. But it still leaves open eligibility, which is the issue. If he could be eligible to be president, can he really be kept off the ballot?
