There’s nothing they’re infringing. They’re building a file management software, how you decide to use it and with what files you want to put in are wholly your decision.
The arr stack/jellyfin/plex and this aren’t going anywhere, because no one has any recourse on them. Sue them for what, creating useful software? Don’t be afraid of the big guy, they don’t have nearly as much power as they like to think they do.
Maybe they should stop making it worse? Just an idea…
Something like this would solve a lot of my hesitations in using a mesh network setup, since central access isn’t always available and I hate having to rely on one . Looking forward to see where this goes and potentially using it, especially in a production environment (where support can potentially come along with it! 💸)
I’ve haven’t heard one of these yet, but with how undecipherable the real announcements usually are, why would anyone pay for an advertisement that you can’t even understand‽ Even the covid era mask up announcements were mostly garbled noise.
Curious if you had any more details about the notification attack you mentioned. I use (and love) Little Snitch and haven’t ever noticed anything (actually) nefarious cross my path, so I’m curious what it looked like to you.
Were there any certificate issues? Did LS say it was suspicious? Just curious, thanks!
