Yeah this is pretty accurate really

Yeah they just tell the computer what they want. They’re prompt engineers hundreds of years in the future. Programming, replicator, holodeck, lights in the quarters, whatever. Makes you wonder what all the button pushing is on the bridge. Maybe because it’s quieter than everyone talking over each other?

When our kids were 7th and 8th grade my wife subbed at the school for a while. She worked a number of days at their grade level and a grade or 2 higher.

What she saw was very similar.

Our kids were getting straight As. No exaggeration. Yet they were having trouble doing homework consisting of math problems they struggled with 2 years prior.

They weren’t being taught anything, they were being prepped for the standardized tests given at the end of the year. Also, any tests and quizzes throughout the year they were given multiple tries to retake, and that explains the straight As.

That’s when we pulled them out and began homeschooling. No regerts.

I live my life one stop at a time. For that few minutes at a time, I’m free.

Unfortunately, despite what the academic types who sit around thinking up useless stuff trying to justify their existence might think it is, it is basically this.

They want to fight racism with racism.

If the reason is actually for leaving 0days open then it is actually for the USA. Since the USA spies on foreign citizens such as UK citizens, the UK spies on the USA citizens.

Because otherwise it would be illegal. Or something.

I think a big part of this push to bring back remote workers is a real estate problem. A lot of empty buildings. Causes problems.

I was once on hold with zoom for over 2 hours. I think they were very upset with me that I persisted. In the end they were zero help.
