parade participants surely look like they are having a great time.
I grew up more libertarian and rebellious, I wanted legalized drugs, gay marriage, and didn’t think government telling anyone what to do was cool. Eventually I came out as transgender and queer after college and became more soc dem. I was radicalized from socdem to dirty commie soon after the DNC backstabbed Bernie Sanders. I really believed at the time that radical change was just around the corner. When I saw how democrats were willing to do anything to stop a “progressive” candidate from winning, I really started looking into what democrats were really about. I saw them as cowards, war hawks, and purposely ineffective.
In 2019 I started reading, listening to podcasts, talking with other leftists online, many of whom knew more about the world’s history than I did, and still know more than I do (I’m a student, not a teacher right now). After learning about how heavily propagandized Americans are and the CIA backed coups in numerous countries I started to unravel what I thought I knew about China, USSR, DPRK, Cuba, etc.
thank u so much Misato 😭

I was hoping she would drop dead on the senate floor, but I’ll take it.
He keeps changing parties, will there be a 4th one?
After her transition in fall 1992, Berry stayed out of the video game spotlight, mostly keeping to herself. She felt as though that after transitioning she was not as good at video game development as she had previously been, stating “So, I’m a little more than three years into my new life role as Ms. Danielle Berry, and her career looks to be somewhat different from old Mr. Dan Bunten’s. For one thing, I’m not as good a programmer as he was.”
So infuriating she was shunned by the video game industry post transition, not a shocker though. I am struggling between taking her above comment as internalized personal failure or she is making a jab at the industry for suddenly pivoting their position on her programming skills? If it is the former that is actually really fucking sad.
