Thanks!
Download images seems to be missing.
Good point, that should be an easy addition! For now you can at least long press an image to open in safari and download it from there, but I’ll definitely add a direct download feature.
It seems that login fails when two factor authentication is active on the account?
Hmm, I haven’t actually tried to log in with 2FA enabled so that could be an issue yeah. I’ll take a look at it.
Test comment !avelon@lemm.ee
Hahah can’t be too many, right? Great to see so much enthusiasm from devs.
Glad to hear about the quick search, I really wanted that feature myself. Might have to make it even more powerful, its a great way to quickly get wherever you need to go. Let me know what you think!
Thanks for the detailed feedback! Images inside comments was honestly a bit of a hassle, but glad I got around to support it.
an iPad mode
A good ipad app would take a bit more work (cough apollo cough), but I’ll look into supporting larger screens with the current UI at least.
swipe to vote / navigate
Definitely want this myself, but had some issues when testing it initially. I have a buggy version internally, but wanna get it right before releasing it to more people.
mark as read on scroll
Good idea, I’ll probably add a toggle for this since some people might not like it.
Lemmy needs more content!
Definitely, but I’m pretty impressed with Lemmy lately. Quite a lot of content, but yeah we need people to post instead of just lurking.
It appears to sort in descending order by community name; be nice if I could control this
Woops, I must have flipped a “>” somewhere in the code, easy fix. What kind of control would you suggest? Sort alphabetically/top communities etc or something else?
No way to refresh; I have to restart the app if I subscribe to a new community
If you subscribe within the app it should update, but yeah good point. I’ll look at adding pull to refresh in the next build.
Agreed, this is definitely at the top of my priority list. I’d like to do it well though, as these types of complex forms are a bit tricky to get right on mobile. If you have any suggestions fire away! As several people have said previously, Lemmy needs content and not just lurkers.
Thanks for the feedback!
Nice catch, will do!
