I think the TV used to be more of a “whole family” activity. I like to keep the sound down and subtitles on as a way to be considerate towards other people in the house.

I vote defederate. This isn’t a question of putting up with a little fascist rhetoric on an otherwise acceptable instance. Exploding heads is exclusively fascist rhetoric, bad faith users, and spam bots.

We have nothing to gain from listening to them.

The owner of a site called zug dot com wrote a lengthy and hilarious essay on his treatment for an anal fissure. There were MS Paint illustrations of the procedure.

I was enthralled but also learned a lot about using humor to discuss situations that a person would otherwise be ashamed of.

Mathematics for Machine Learning by Marc Deisenroth and Deep Learning by Ian Goodfellow. Two great books for theory but practice always helps too.
