I don’t think so because they can just crawl the fediverse now without threads as far as I’m aware. We’re all posting publicly right?

We switched mid campaign, but we luckily had a good reason for the changes as we just ended up in the feywild so whenever anything weird comes up we can wave our hands at the fey 😂

Ahhh yeah me too :( Incidentally I also swapped to Pathfinder 2e only a few months before leaving reddit and we’re having a lot of fun in our campaign!

I don’t think it’s weird but it’s hurtful and I think you should make an effort to stop. Like the others said anyone who grew up in the 2000s probably had a phase where they said it constantly.

To give you some perspective, I did and I found out that my brother was gay later. I still cringe at the things I said when we were kids and wish I could go back in time and slap myself… he doesn’t hold it against me but it doesn’t matter, when you grow up you start taking responsibility for what you say and do and to make sure your words reflect your ethics. If you’re not a homophobe then stop saying homophobic shit yo!

I can see how you maybe never had a lot of external pressure to stop but just imagine that it’s likely that there’s at least one person you know who is in the closet and you owe it to them to do better!

I feel they are both being very selfish about this, sorry this is happening to you :( Sounds like they want you to pretend you’re fine so they can stop thinking about it or feeling guilty but space seems like the best idea here…

I‘m in my early 30s, I used to be an academic doing AI stuff, for now I’m a SAHM which has been a big change. Used to do programming, gaming and embroidery in my free time, liked tinkering with my pc setup (I use arch btw). Now I don’t have much time anymore, seriously staying home with a baby is a million times more stressful than any job I ever had! So now the hobby I make time for and refuse to give up is RPGs, tabletop and PC. Can’t wait for my son to be old enough to play also.
