Thanks for sorting mine out. Incidentally your reply to my email asking for help didn’t get marked as spam (I use SpamAssassin, which scores the spamminess), just the automatic one sent from your instance.
I think the problem might be fairly temporary - looking at the headers, feddit.uk is already in the mspike whitelist and mspike h4 (“Very good reputation”) - tests which reduce the “spaminess score” assigned by SA. The only one in the header I see now that increases spaminess score is the test URIBL_DBL_SPAM (Spamhaus DBL blocklist).
It’s possible some of the text and/or formatting of the automated emails is increasing the spamminess score, at least how SA classifies mail.
Realistically I think rejoin is at least two decades away. While the EU would probably love to have the UK back, I think it’s almost certain that some countries will veto any rejoin any time soon.
If Britain rejoins the EU within a generation, I’ll eat a sock. I’m very pessimistic about the chances of it happening.
People are gullible. Remember that Ghostwatch programme, that loads of people fell for (so much so it caused outrage. Personally I would have been embarassed to admit it if it had fooled me).
“A Guide to Armageddon” was the other one shown on the BBC, a half-hour QED documentary. It’s still on YouTube.
Both are absolutely terrifying.
The one that grates on me is people pronouncing Rioja as “Ree-ocker”.
Anything other than hot tea with milk (and optional sugar) is deviant!
What’s toxic about it?
I used it to advertise a carrier trip I did with my FC, and the experience was completely positive, got at least a dozen commanders coming on for the ride, and most joined me in open during the major stops along the way (for IRL lunch, dinner, an overnight, and the next day’s lunch and dinner).
For the FC owner, it made quite a long (and expensive, half a billion credits in fuel) trip a lot of fun. I never noted any toxicity.
I’ve also used it to get rides on other fleet carriers, and again, a wholly positive experience.
I’ve not boiled an egg. I only like hard boiled egg, but not enough to go to the effort of boiling an egg. Soft boiled eggs, fried eggs, poached eggs, scrambled eggs all make me retch. Both the smell and texture of eggs that aren’t hard boiled I find repulsive.
If we’re away and getting breakfast at a café I tend to go for the vegan breakfast as it’s the only one without lashings of egg.
This is wishful thinking if I’ve ever seen it.
