Oh yay, I get to post the new image I found the other day!
Image: Cartoon woman smiling, wearing headphones. Labelled “YOU”.
Man smiling, bent over in background with tube up butthole that leads to headphones. Labeled: The Joe Rogan Experience.
“First of all, from what I understand from doctors, that’s really rare. If it’s a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down.”
-Todd Akin, 2012
I’m unfamiliar with this news site, but they must know they have to do better on sources, because this sounds like reporting on rumours.
"Several social media users, including commentators and reporters…" (emphasis mine).
Interesting that the right is already accusing them of potentially using deepfakes in the future. Maybe they know of something captured in video, or maybe random blanket statements of innocence are necessary with a knob end like Trump.
I also hope no one was victimized.
I’m learning Polish, and spelling (rz dz sz cz ł and ą ę ż ś) is all fine for me-- the thing I struggle with is the grammatical cases. The fact that the ending of everything changes is what has caused me to give up twice 🥺
I will pick it up again, but I sucked at the Masculine/Feminine thing with French, and this is a lot more difficult.

Przepraszam moja drogi!!
Wayyy past the number of corporate billionaires I’d be comfortable having in politics, and for them to go from lobbying in the background to centre stage is worrying.
Agree that the expert testimony should be included in the posted article!
I found this article from when the trial was in progress, which includes the testimony for the second request:
Two psychologists testified Wednesday that a Wisconsin woman who at age 12 stabbed a sixth-grade classmate nearly to death to please the online horror character Slender Man should not be released yet from a psychiatric hospital.
Morgan Geyser, now 21, wants to leave Winnebago Mental Health Institute with conditions. But one psychologist said the case has taken an unusual turn because Geyser claims she had been faking psychotic symptoms, which “doesn’t line up” with years of observation and treatment.
There is a link in the article to an earlier article that covers her 1st request, in which there was an assessment:
Judge Michael Bohren ruled against Morgan Geyser, now 21, despite the testimony of two psychiatrists, including the medical director of Winnebago Mental Health Institute, who said she was ready to depart that hospital and return to the community under certain conditions.
