It is an amazing strategy. I mean a lot of people were turned off when in 2016 Hillary Clinton decided to be super buddy buddy in public with her Idol Henry Kissinger. Most of us thought fucking yuck that’s a goddamn war criminal 10 times over Hillary what are you doing? But she kept just chumming it up with one of the worst people in the history of the mankind. Cost her a lot of votes. Turned a lot of people off.
Now 8 years later Kamala Harris is bringing that old Playbook back out. Just be chummy with a war criminal Kamala I’m sure that’ll give you a lot of votes. From fucking who though?

I mean do you really think anyone has a positive impression of it?
Sometimes I wonder what the strategy here is. Like we know people who already support him love these kind of rallies. They can’t be swayed by anything. They’ve made that abundantly clear. But is this working at all on anyone else? Is it solely about rallying his base? Surely there’s no one on the planet that was undecided as to who to vote for and then sold by a personal speech from Donald Trump. I just can’t imagine that’s possible. I can’t imagine anyone could listen to his rambling nonsense and become confident in voting for him based on that alone.
The answer this question is made obvious when you remember that this is just an opinion piece and not the Banner headline news of the New York Times. That’s why. Cuz you don’t report on it.
