Have you tried turning up the gain on the antenna?

Unless you’re using hardware from 30 years ago it shouldn’t matter if you end up making a crossover cable or a straight through cable.

wifi is not noticably slower. 2ms maybe

How far away are you to the server? thats the biggest thing that affects ping

Is this in your house? just pull out the light bulb like you were going to change it.

That’s windows task manager measuring the bandwidth at the network card. Not sure how or why it would incorporate switching overhead.
