I hope they do that for the rest of their distros.

I understand the fear of the word “telemetry” thanks to MS, google and others… But it is not all bad. If they show me what they collect, I’m ok with that. Good and honest telemetry is good actually.

Where do I find plasma-plasmashell.service?

That killed the whole xorg session. It logs into a black screen with only the cursor. I’ve been messing with it for about 3 days. So, I just went ahead nuked my whole system, including my home drive and reinstalled from scratch. All good now. It was painful to restore all of my home files from server, but we are all good now.

Multiple drives on Linux are a different ballgame than other OSs. And I JUST found that out. Lol. I hope this video helps. Give it a watch and see.

😂 don’t feel bad. I’ve been using Linux for almost 6 years and never knew this until I built my first PC ever last week and needed to add more drives. I was like wtf. I thought it was all like windows, but nope, there is a lot more to it

I use both. I only use gparted when I’m installed a distro. When I’m already in a distro, gnome disks is just amazing then. Very easy to use

EDIT: So, apparently it does have a proper dark mode that I didn’t know about. My apologies. Oooof, we can only dream. That sunny white paper blinding you in the dark mode is a major turn off. I still use it, though. I appreciate the rest of the suit for sure.
