Yep. I personally like the approach of having a pretty decent system by default and then install extensions for customizing it, rather than having a bloat load of options.

If you could link the GitHub issue, i will like put a 👍 on it, and if many of the people start that, maybe they will prioritize it.

Checkout Hidamari. Also if you are using GNOME , checkout Hanabi, a gnome extension

This was the aim of Sapphire Project. It started way before this AI and large ML models became trending. But still not in a usable condition as i’m aware of.

Another related project is Dicio. App is still in its early stages, but usable for basic tasks.

Idk why, but i found wefwef after trying jerboa, thunder, and liftoff and somehow wefwef is the only one i found great in UX. Been an infinity user before and wefwef only improved upon that.

Checkout the Youtube-shorts-block extension which gives shorts the same UI as normal youtube videos.

Basically what the extension does is replace the parts in the URL youtube.com/shorts/“video-id” to youtube.com/watch?v=“video-id”

Here in kerala ( a small state in india ), we have a project called Mapathon Keralam. They work with engineering colleges to map out nearby places as well as any place in general. Had contributed few places myself. So pretty much all places in kerala are now mapped in it :)
