All this trauma Israel iand America s causing on these people, and Arab peoples in general. It doesnt just evaporate, there will be a whole lot of paybacks. For generations. And every day they are just doubling down and expanding it. I dont see when theyd ever stop.

Sounds reasonable. I think when people discuss this theres a lot of talking past each other. I think progressives see an opportunity to play chicken with supporting Harris until she gives us something for it. Some progressives will go all the way and not vote for any candidate, and some will cave at the last minute because of the dynamic you described. But just giving up now and voting for her while she is doing something we hate is a waste of a good crisis. I’d also like to see the DNC coem up short looking for votes from the middle, which seems inevitable to me. Good civil chat, thanks.

Doesnt matter. She’s in charge of a campaign that we arent sure is winning. If she wants to make sure she will win, drop the weapons shipments and she gets progressive votes. Progressives want to vote for her.

that is an interesting observation. The idea of coalitions has seemingly broken down and its as you said now for everyone-- you’re onboard with whatever the dems or repubs say and do, or you are labeled as supporting the enemy and a memebr of their camp. And no one puts forth a platform or plans like they used to. What a time to be alive eh.

I do wonder if this is the end of the American government. It sounds alarmist and a little crazy but also plausible. Fundamental architectural peices of our government are breaking down-- like when the supreme court ruled that presidents are not legally unaccounatble and presumed acting legally no matter what they do. Its not just problematic its broken. So now we inevitably get to watch that break spectacularly., standing here with our genitals in our hands. Does that mean seal team 6 shooting Americans like the news said was possible? I dont know. But its legally allowed now, so…?
