Steam obsessed people always cry about the lack of “features” in other stores, as if a game store + launcher needs features other than being able to buy and launch games.

Hell, I don’t even want to launch games. Just let me buy and download an exe (oh yeah, GoG does that, which is why I use GoG whenever I can…)

Sucks for devs that people just won’t buy their game if it isn’t on Steam though :/ Idk how to change peoples’ behaviour, unless Steam does something egregiously bad to users

You’re getting caught up in the rhetoric that causes the polarization in FPTP. They are different parties, you can’t just arbitrarily lump all their votes together as if every Green voter would have voted NDP or every NDP voter would have voted Green.

It’ll be interesting to see what China’s true emissions are, as opposed to their reported number, given how they just lie about every metric (covid deaths, poverty, etc)

It’s a clear cut example of dog whistling. Without literally saying it, she engaged with the conversation in a way that tells conspiracy theorists “the US DoD is chemtrailing us”

What makes cop shooting ranges so special that they can’t just pay to use public ones?

Fundamentally, the only people against this simply don’t believe in covid. You don’t see them crying on the internet about employers not letting people work on construction sites without hard hats - it’s basic safety. As long as you accept that covid is dangerous, then you have no issue with employers requiring a vaccination.

It’s just flatout wrong to say it makes no sense because an acronym is pronounced as a word, not an abbreviation of its words. AIDS isn’t pronounced “awh-ids”, NASA isn’t pronounced “N-eh-sa”.

Ethical business? Wat? Our economy is propped up by a housing bubble and resource extraction
