Why not a matrix room/space?
That’s a really cool photo did you use a manual focus lens? I saw you had mentioned an adapter
I feel like a big plus of it too is not requiring additional subscriptions to internet, especially to get live info. Once you reach 2-3 years of your included internet with cars then, its time for the subscriptions for internet and other services to begin. IMO most would want to avoid paying for more subscriptions when you have a perfectly good phone in your pocket that can be hooked up to do everything the car is asking you to pay for monthly. Another thing for me is being able to use your phone or phone keyboard to look stuff up, before you start driving, to find stuff much quicker rather than typing on the infotainment system. Also updates don’t rely on the car manufacturer to continue updating their system.
I believe their other readers work with moon+ reader and other apps. I was debating getting one of the color ones and if you can deal with the slow refresh rate of eink and some apps not being optimized with page flashes etc, then it’s a good choice. Also interested in this as a beach “phone” to be able to easily bring it when it’s super bright out and have a readable display.
I use android auto and carplay and for some reason Google maps is crippled on car play. Can’t move the map around with the touchscreen or change routes easily, apple maps has those features on carplay and Google maps has those features on Android auto. I’m not sure if it’s apple trying to push apple maps and disallowing those features, but it does push me towards apple maps or just using android auto for Google maps.
As weird as this sounds my brother and I eat a slice of American cheese with a banana and it tastes surprisingly good. Just a banana with cheese wrapped around it nothing else. Might be the most out there but I still enjoy it from time to time.
