I’d actually like to try their new ergo clears because actual ergo clears or the switches that were very similar (Zeal V1) tend to be my favorites.

Sorry to necro the post, but I have two of the new Model F. I have the F77 in the classic case and then I got an FSSK when they released because of the form factor. I ended up switching back to the F77 because it just feels and looks nicer.

The new Model Fs feel just like my original Model Fs if you have ever typed on one. Typing on Model Fs feel a bit lighter and crisper than on a Model M. I loved my Models Ms and I have had one since I was a kid, but once I was using a Model F, the M felt like a rough imitation (which I suppose isn’t that far from the truth). It isn’t the world changing difference that some people would tell you, but it does feel significantly better to me. It doesn’t hurt that you also get NKRO and, in these reproductions, the ability to customize the layout via the programmable firmware. I also really like the hefty case compared to the plastic of the Model Ms, especially the zinc case in the classic model, but the aluminum case of the FSSK isn’t too shabby either.

I have used an GTX 3070 with no issues for the past 3.5 years, before that I used an AMD Vega 64 with no issues. I think if I were buying a new card and could stomach the prices I’d lean towards a Radeon 7900 XTX.

Mine would be Sid Meier’s Alpha Centauri (with expansion). My favorite 4X game of all time.

Weirdly enough, my favorite (QuiteRSS) isn’t on here.

It runs fine for me on Linux, same as it does in Windows, always has since release. I am using an Nvidia card though, so maybe I lucked out.

You may also want to take a look at zoneminder. I’ve had great luck with it over the years.

I just got a laptop with 64GB of DDR5 ram for $870 or so from HP, so I wouldn’t take these specific examples you found as gospel.
