Rules:

Here are our general rules for the instance. We try to keep these open and general, but individual communities may pose additional restrictions as they see fit.

  1. Please follow the Lemmy Code of Conduct (tl;dr: be kind and respectful)

  2. Absolutely no bigotry, harassment, or discrimination will be tolerated. This includes racism, sexism, all forms of queerphobia, and any other hate speech or marginalization.

  3. We’d like to keep the instance LiS-focused. If you’d like to create non-LiS communities, please do it off-instance – however, any LiS content is welcome here. Is there no community yet for your own fave ship? Make one! We’d love to see it.

    • This doesn’t mean you may not use your Pricefield.org account to moderate or create those communities. You’re welcome to do whatever you’d like to on Lemmy in general, and if you find any difficulties, please don’t hesitate to contact us in the instance meta community.
  4. Source any fanworks you post (unless you made them of course, then you’re the source)

  5. Mark NSFW posts as such. Also, if you’d like to post so much NSFW that you’d overrun the instance or communities with it, create dedicated communities instead. We’d like to keep a sex-positive environment here but without forcing it on anyone. (Which means don’t be horny in SFW threads.)

    • No “male gaze” posts. If you post any lesbian art or other fanwork, make sure it’s actually sapphic and not just women performing for a (presumably male) viewer’s enjoyment. This is especially relevant to NSFW art, but it applies to all posts, SFW or NSFW.

    • Trans women are women, for those who need the clarification.

  6. Do not put spoilers in the title, image, or text content of a post; keep it in the comments for now. We’re aware that this is a bit janky but unfortunately there’s no way to prevent inadvertently showing spoilers to others for now. If Lemmy implements better rendering of spoilers, we will relax this rule (after some delay to let other instances catch up to the latest version) to the greatest extent that people can still opt out of.

    • Update: 0.18.1 seems to have resolved this. We’re monitoring community adoption.
  7. Keep the scope of communities in mind. There will be overlaps and you’re welcome to crosspost, but make sure the posts you make are relevant to the community you’re posting them to. If existing communities are too broad or too specific for your desires, you’re welcome to create one and promote it with crossposts.
