We are a think-and-do tank and free software foundry. Established in 1999, we brought together artists, activists, and hackers from diverse backgrounds to form an online community. Our three guiding principles are:

We recycle old technology rather than create needs for new ones: this is our way to respect the environment and optimize resources.
Numerous individuals and organizations across various fields have utilized and redistributed our creations. Our software grants everyone the freedom to use, study, share, and enhance its code, thereby upholding essential liberties.
