US foreign policy on Israel has helped maintain this violence for decades. The US supports Israel for political and economic reasons, it is not for the protection of Israeli people. If the US wanted Israel to be safe they would do more to prevent violence in the area instead of simply arming Israel and enriching defense companies.

Netanyahu is the one that is funding Hamas, so he can justify his actions. Just like Hilary made Trump a Republican candidate, so they would have an easier win.
