A community for left-leaning people (including liberals who consider themselves leftists) to ask questions about socialism and socialist countries. Instance rules mostly apply – by necessity, inadvertent violations of rule 1 are allowed.

This community is primarily intended for people from other instances to ask questions, but new Lemmygrad users can also do so.

Rules:

• Post titles must be questions; off-topic posts will be removed
• Engage in good faith; hostility will result in a ban (temporary or permanent depending on severity)
• Don’t respond to hostile comments, just report them
• Serious questions and replies only
• Provide sources for any political assertions; comments with uncited claims will be removed
• Employ media criticism; if an article is not a first-hand account and doesn’t cite any sources of its own, it’s almost certainly unreliable
