So far so all I’ve done with the grenade launcher is kill myself and sometimes my teammate

If you click really fast the recoil will save you from yourself.

I was fighting the automatons at fairly close range and managed to blow myself up when my grenade bounced on their armor straight back to me. That’s when I learned that the autocannon works way better for the automatons.
