What more of a reason do you need to have. It’s a human right, I don’t want to be treated like a criminal and have my data harvested for profit. I don’t leave my door and windows open for anyone to look at me, and I also don’t want anyone spying at me online. Especially some giant, lying, thieving, greedy, no good corporations.
What is your response to the bullshit “if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to worry about?”
If someone spew that idiotic nonsense at me I would demand they let me in their house so I can look what they’re doing during the day since they’re the paragon of security.
Good answer lol. If you’re interested, we could talk further about human rights in general, and which ones are the most important (Security obviously being right up there with food and shelter).
I don’t think I’d be a good talker, but if you want my opinion on things, by all means. You won’t find many radical, world shattering thoughts though :P
Fair enough, I hope you’ll stick around and lurk around here a bit. I don’t think you’d totally disagree with most of us here on these, even if people were a bit aggressive towards your first comment. Just be willing to listen and learn, and ask questions when you’re genuinely interested in hearing the answers and you’ll probably have a good time.
