(Came in from Threads, my first instance of seeing something notable there. In Threads’s defense it was someone laughing at how absurd/impressive it is that they’ve managed to try to tie this in with the anti-Biden propaganda.)

Definitely not impossible, but I’d bet on the Russians being the source of this – they have a vested interest in fucking with the US’s upcoming elections in any way they can, and it’s not like it’d be the first time they’d used their disinfo networks to spread ridiculous bullshit that conservatives eat right up
