As someone who hasn’t played the FES, portable versions, coming from 4 and 5. Loved it.
Would you recommend this version over any of the older ones? I started the series with 4 and loved it, but never ended up playing 3. I downloaded and modded(full party control) a rom of FES before Reloaded was even announced, but life got in the way and I forgot about it. I’ve genuinely been conflicted about getting reloaded especially after the DLC fiasco.
Sorry that was a typo - I havent played the originals apologies for the mislead. To me the story feels complete without the missing content and slots in nicely with 4 and 5. They did a good job with the new engine visually it’s the pick of the bunch.
No worries! I’ve seen streams and I agree they definitely did a great job bringing it into current gen graphics.
Atlus has a track record of saying “This is definitely the most complete game we’ve ever created. Actually, just kidding we made a better version - please pay us full price again.” So I guess I was mostly curious to see how it compared to the originals.
