“Being confident” is dangerously close to straight up bothering people. Plus it only really works if you’re good looking.

You’ve got it all wrong. Be confident that you’re fine as the person that you are, and don’t need a partner to complete yourself. That’s what people find attractive. As long as you’re chasing tail you’ll be disappointed. Only when you don’t need it will you find a partner worthy of the name.
