Basically I had this shower thought that the settler colonial regimes of the world uses its civilian population as shields from natives looking to reclaim their stolen land.

View all comments Someone posted a map once of Isntrael that showed how newer settlements were being built in a way that acted as a sponge/wall to protect against possible invasions.
I need to find that map again.
